What more would you like to learn?

Through this computer class, I have learned much more than I expected. I did not know specific functions of Power Point or Word. Also, I was surprised at names of windows. We can use windows by intuition, so I have never thought about these names. Anyways, I could get basic information which people are not really sure about computer. Especially, I was always thinking about the best CPU I could choose since it was really not sure which CPU is the most powerful one. Then, I am really interested in computer now. I want to learn and be a person who is good at computer. I want to learn about making web page more and I want to make my page by myself someday.

You can find thousands of videos at You Tube or another site. Many people can share their videos without pain since it is easy to upload videos now. People tend to tell others when they find good videos, though sometimes good videos which are music or movie are illegal. It is becoming serious problem since people stop buying music videos; on one wants to buy them even they can watch them by free. Music industories blame You Tube. On the other hand, pepole started to share their own videos because they do not need any money. For example, Smosh's videos are my favorite and I tell many of my friends. They made videos and upload often. Their videos are original and so funny. Viral videos are not always but things.

Presents for family.

There are many products which I want to give my parents or friends. I focused on Apple products. For my father, I want to give him Mac Pro. Mac Pro has Dual-Core Intel Xeon and it can have three-tera bite hard disk. My father can trade money more efficiently and optical fiver Internet would be faster than usual. For my mother, I want to give her i mac. i mac is desktop type but its so stylish and compact. She can manage her schedule easily. For my brother, I want to give him i-pod and i-phone. I am sure that he would love them. Finally, I want to give my grand father Mac Book. He can makes command by speaking. This function would really help him. Meanwhile, I wish I had enough money to get highest spec Macintosh.

Net Neutrality

Net Neutrality is the principle of the freedom on the Internet. It is allowed for everyone to access anywhere from the time Internet appeared until now. If someone limited many things on the Internet, people cannot be treated fairly. What you think and do are rights of human beings. It is the basis of democracy. On the other hand, some problems appeared. Some big companies limit their rival companies. For example, Skype cannot get good lines because they do not have enough money. However, is it Net Neutrality? It is natural that weak company cannot get well in the real life also. I think that is really important that people can get same opportunity to access in the Internet, though I feel it is strange that new companies which are Google, Yahoo, Skype, and so on require limits for large companies. They should compete in real fair way.

There are many sites which people can buy and download songs and videos. However, sometimes, it is so annoying because there are many processes to download them. On the other hand, you can download music easily by using i-Tunes. According to the Apple press, over two billion songs and fifty million movies were downloaded legally. Actually, I like i-Tunes store because it is easy and high quality. I would often download music from illegally but these songs had different quality. By the way, Google started attacking Microsoft gradually. Google started to provide Office soft. Now, Google Apps is FREE. There still are some limits but it is worth trying to use Google Apps because you do not have to download any programs. You can use it just by typing the address.

Introduce 3 good web sites

On the Internet, there are many interesting sites, so it is difficult to decide which sites are best. I chose three sites which I use often. First, I always check this site after I go back home: Myspace.com There is mixi in japan, yet it is limited. Meanwhile, you can make background and put music on Myspace. Also, you can get friends all over the world. I have over 170 friends on myspace now. I met friends who I may not become friends in real life such as emo. Second, there is funny site that you can find the celebrities who is like you. My Heritage Finally, You can find funny movies on YouTube. However, sometimes, individuals upload illegal movie or music, so copyright problem is becoming bigger. Anyways, search "Smosh". I love "smosh" movies since they are so creative.

Day by day, social engineering is becoming bigger and bigger phenomena on the Internet all over the world. Social engineering is to steal information, which is important such as ID, password, personal information, and credit card number by social ways. For instance, someone may ask you important password to access your company by call as your boss. Moreover, there is the way called Phising which tricks you to get your personal information on a mail or webpage that copy the original mail or webpage of companies. Security education can prevent these problems. However, there is direct way to seal information. For example, it may be possible that someone can get the very secret information by looking through shredder dust. There is new service by Yamato Transport Co., Ltd. They collect disposal documents and dissolve them, so no one can steal information. It costs just 1,800 yen each corrugated cardboard. We always check new information to protect ourselves.

What do you know about the Mac (Apple computers)?

Apple computer is known as the company of i-pod and Mac. Usually, Mac users are into Mac. Even people are not into Apple computer, there are many merits to use Mac: security, graphic, customer service, and Mac OS X. First, there is no reason to buy security soft wear which makes your computer slower since Mac is secured well originally. Then, as you know, graphic designs of Mac are brilliant. It grabs people and people cannot get bored. Third, customer service is the greatest reason to use Mac. If you buy Apple Care with your Mac, you can ask specialist of Mac for three years by no charge. Actually, I called customer center since I had problem with my i-pod, which was formatted for windows when I bought Mac. Apple computer designs hard wear to soft wear, so they understand what the problem I have well. You would be surprised at their amazing customer service if you bought Mac. Finally, I was really really really surprised at Mac OS X. I deleted some important files by chance. I though I had to delete all. However, I just had to boot with CD of Mac OS X. It repaired problems without deleting any personal settings and information. I am into Mac because Easy, Safe, and Fun to use.

What do you want to learn about computer?

It was almost 10 years ago that I met Windows 95 and it was a present from my father. Windows 95 surprised me much since I did not need any special knowledge to use it. Furthermore, computer has undergone an astounding evolution for twenty years. For example, we can use future OS such as Windows Vista and Mac OS X Leopard soon. That is why I want to learn many things from this computer class. I thought I knew basic things, however, I noticed I did not know many basic knowledge about computer. The more computers evolve, the less people need any special knowledge of computer since they can use them by intuition. However, people need skills when they suffer from problems. Thus, I want to learn about computer step by step, so I took this course to sophisticate myself. Also, I want to learn about Macintosh much from Mr. Poza who is a SPECIALIST of Macintosh.
